Agency’s Berlin Office turns three

Stuttgart, 10 March 2017. The Berlin office of the follow red experiential communication agency, formerly known as Roth & Lorenz, celebrated its three-year anniversary in March. Since 2014, the team headed by Alex Leuker (39), Director of the Berlin office, has developed into follow red’s most important point of contact for key clients such as Mercedes-Benz Sales Germany and Mercedes-Benz. The now twelve full-time employees working out of the Oranienstraße 188 location have more than filled out their office space and continue on their expansion course thanks to excellent project development.
“The motivation behind Berlin was quite straightforward: we wanted to be where the music plays and, above all, closer to some very important customers,” explained CEO Ulrich Roth referring to the opening of the Berlin office three years ago. In Stuttgart, follow red, at the time still Roth & Lorenz, had grown by close to 50 percent to more than 120 employees in a relatively short period of time, and there is still great potential to accelerate this growth in Berlin. The successful development of the subsidiary in the country’s capital bears witness to the good instincts of the Stuttgart specialists in branding experiences. Since 2014, the Berlin team has not only established itself as a valuable source of ideas and a driving force for follow red. Long-established clients, such as Mercedes-Benz Sales Germany, have also experienced strategic expansion with the help of the new agency office. New clients, including the AOK Bunderverband, AIDA Cruises & COSTA Kreuzfahrten, and Storck with its Werther’s Echte and Merci brands also value the local, client-oriented support as well as the creativity of the Berlin communication experts.
Ulrich Roth is well aware that this every positive development would not have been possible without the commitment from day one on the part of the Berlin team and especially Alex Leuker as Director of the Berlin office: “So far, Alex and his group have really mastered the challenges associated with establishing a new office. Our team in Berlin now has twelve full-time employees. It has also, within a relatively short timeframe, created a great network in the key areas of architecture and 3D design, logistics and project management. The Berlin team is currently contributing to our positive development in a big way. And we are delighted about that.”
The Stuttgart agency’s key areas of expertise in the fields of content, experiential communication, sponsorship consulting, roadshows and brand activation are now also fully established in Berlin. And they are complemented by the Berlin team’s expertise in corporate events, spatial of 3D communication, stage design and much more. Since the opening, two high-profile awards have been won by follow red Berlin. The Berlin team won the bronze POSMA Award 2015 with the V-Class Roadshow 2015, and Alex Leuker and his team won the second place BEA Award 2017 for the implementation of the Mercedes-Benz #sportsgarage 2016 project.
