Stuttgart, 5.11.2018. Since October 2018 Markus Schaupp (40) has been Group Head PR at follow red, the Stuttgart-based specialist for branding experiences. As early as January 2018, he moved to follow red as Senior Consultant PR. The proven communications expert for IT and technically oriented companies will now take over the personnel responsibility of the ten-strong PR team in the Stuttgart agency in addition to the technical responsibility and will continue to expand and expand the business in the areas of content creation and distribution, storytelling, PR and social media both in the B2B and B2C corporate environment.
Born in Tübingen, he brings over ten years of PR and communications experience to the agency. His last position since 2012 was as Account Director at PR-COM GmbH, Munich, in a leading position as well as for the strategic positioning of international clients such as adesso, Akamai or Red Hat in the German-speaking region. After graduating from the Eberhard-Karls-Universität Tübingen with a Master’s degree in Political Science with a focus on International Relations, Schaupp started his PR career in 2006 at Ira Wülfing Kommunikation, Munich, in the area of financial communications and non-profit PR.
