Sebastian Wiese has been the new managing partner of follow red since 1 April 2019
In the future, Wiese will focus more on customer expansion and new business
Together with Ulrich Roth, Alex Leuker and Niko Skarlatoudis, he forms the management of follow red
On April 1, Sebastian Wiese (41) started as managing partner at follow red. Born in Stuttgart, he brings over 20 years of agency and industry know-how as the former managing director of Full Moon Group GmbH. From now on, he will support the experts for branding experiences in the area of customer building with a focus on live and B2C as well as in new business development.
“I think Sebastian will find it easy to settle in quickly with us. After all, he is a creative through and through,” says Ulrich Roth, founder and CEO of follow red, pleased with Sebastian Wiese’s entry and adds: “We can all also consider ourselves lucky that he brings a lot of fresh thinking, knowledge and experience, which we hope will provide many forward-looking business impulses.” After training and studying, Sebastian Wiese quickly discovered his passion for live communication. As early as 2001, he founded the event and communications agency Full Moon Group GmbH together with partners and has successfully expanded the agency group since then. In October 2018, he left Full Moon to realize his personal vision for the live communication of the future. “The personal approach to the consumer is becoming increasingly important, both digitally and live. Our job is to create such impressive experiences between people and brands that they become ‘shareable moments’,” explains Sebastian Wiese. The key to this is emotionally told stories, or the perfect interlocking of content management/PR, digital and live measures. “The strong synergy of these three core competencies forms the backbone of follow red and is the reason why I made a conscious decision to join follow red. This was also the basis of the agency’s recent project successes and customer acquisitions. That’s why I’m very much looking forward to actively shaping this development as a new team player,” Wiese continued.
In recent months, follow red has invested a lot of energy in future topics and its market and customer focus and has positioned itself accordingly more agile and effective. Examples of this are many new customer acquisitions, especially in the area of PR, as well as very well-developed existing customers. The management structure has now also been adapted accordingly. With his experience from 17 years of customer management and project management, Niko Skarlatoudis will be responsible for all organizational and commercial issues of the agency in a dual role as COO and CFO. He replaces the retiring Petra Schnitzler. As a member of the Executive Board, Alex Leuker is responsible for important key customers and will contribute his conceptual experience from many winning concepts influenced by him even more intensively than before. After Andrea Vossen is leaving follow red at her own request, Niko Skarlatoudis and Alex Leuker, together with founders Ulrich Roth and Sebastian Wiese, form the new management of the follow red agency, which is based in Stuttgart and Berlin.
