One for all, all for communication: Working Spaces W1719 in Stuttgart-Vaihingen

Stuttgart, May 25, 2020. Brand-new and fresh off the press, W1719 opens its doors today—the new workspaces for creative minds and collaborative communicators in Stuttgart-Vaihingen. Ulrich Roth, founder and managing partner of follow red, explains the idea behind the project and what the new coworkers can expect in the future.

What’s the story behind W1719, the new workspaces in Stuttgart?

Ulrich Roth: With W1719, we’re expanding on an idea that we’ve long been putting into practice on a small scale in our agency offices: service providers, agencies, freelancers, and partners all under one roof. What they have in common: They all work in and for the creative industry, are open to collaborative projects, and appreciate the opportunity for direct exchange with colleagues from other fields. To support this, we’ve now created even more space, the necessary infrastructure, and many additional amenities—in a location with excellent transportation access and a view over Vaihingen. And because we don’t see ourselves as any more or less important than the other partners in this setup, we’ve given our new venture a neutral name: W1719 stands for the address—Waldburgstraße 17/19 in Stuttgart-Vaihingen.

What can Stuttgart’s coworking community expect at W1719?

Ulrich Roth: In addition to modern facilities and infrastructure, there are, of course, plenty of opportunities for personal interaction. In meeting rooms, on our rooftop terrace, in our casino—everywhere you look, there are spaces that inspire and foster creativity. We also already have partners from a variety of fields on board, ranging from film production companies to digital brand consulting and trend research. In this setting, opportunities for project collaboration often arise.

Where can interested coworkers learn more?

Ulrich Roth: The W1719 already has its own website, put together in a hurry by our digital partners at smart7: At www.w1719.de, you’ll find all the information and, of course, a few photos. If you’re interested, just send a quick email to info@w1719.de or give us a call at +49 (0)711 90140-0. And since everyone has to tighten their belts a bit right now, we’re offering our workspaces at affordable introductory rates through the end of the year.
