follow red Wins Four German Brand Awards for Bosch Projects

Four-time winner of the German Brand Award: follow red was honored alongside Robert Bosch Power Tools GmbH for two projects. The Bosch PRO Tour and the Bosch PRO Experience 2025 impressed the jury in the categories “Brand Impact of the Year,” “Brand Experience of the Year,” and twice in “Brand Communication – Brand Events.”

Julia Rein, Account Director; Kim Abendroth, Project Manager; and Sebastian Wiese, CEO of follow red, at the 2026 German Brand Awards ceremony in Berlin.

The German Brand Award is organized by the German Design Council, which has been recognized as the leading authority on design in Germany since 1953. Entries are evaluated by an independent jury of experts from the fields of business, academia, brand strategy, communication, and culture. Key criteria include brand positioning, differentiation, and implementation.

“Live experiences are and will remain a key driver of strong brand communication. Especially when products require explanation and target audiences need a genuine connection, personal experiences create impact, trust, and relevance, says Sebastian Wiese, managing partner at follow red. “The fact that two of our projects have each won multiple awards shows that authentic brand experiences are a powerful driver of sales and create measurable impact.”

With the Bosch PRO Tour , Robert Bosch Power Tools GmbH and follow red developed a Europe-wide roadshow for professional tradespeople. For over four years, two identically equipped setups—complete with 40-metric-ton trucks, support vehicles, and food trucks—have been touring more than 20 countries, from Norway to Turkey. At each location, a modular experience area spanning over 200 square meters is set up, featuring realistic product tests and application stations.

“What started as a successful tour in the DACH region has evolved into a Europe-wide platform that brings us even closer to our target audiences,” says Melanie Dobratz, Marketing Manager for Events Europe at Robert Bosch Power Tools GmbH. “The Bosch PRO Tour and the Bosch PRO Experience demonstrate just how valuable face-to-face interactions, genuine feedback, and hands-on product experiences are for our brand.”

The Bosch PRO Experience 2025 focused on connection, relevance, and hands-on experiences. At Motorworld Metzingen, over 800 guests from 25 countries explored around 200 new products across 26,000 square meters of event space. Fourteen hands-on stations and workshops, the #EngineeredForAction campaign, and the launch of the EXPERT Range turned the event into an international brand experience with lasting impact.

“Our strength lies in tailoring each project individually to our clients’ goals, target audiences, and markets,” says Julia Rein, Account Director at follow red. “For our long-standing client Robert Bosch Power Tools GmbH, we combine strategic insight, international execution, and logistics to create experiences with a lasting impact. The key is to truly understand the client and their goals—because success comes from trust, continuous dialogue, and a partnership-based collaboration.”

With these four awards, follow red underscores its reputation as a full-service brand communications agency: conceptualizing, creating, staging, and executing. From its offices in Stuttgart, Munich, and Berlin, the agency develops national and international brand identities that transform ideas into meaningful experiences. With this award, the agency builds on its previous successes at the German Brand Award: As early as 2022, follow red was recognized for developing and implementing the new brand identity for the engineering services provider Bertrandt.
