Stuttgart, April 13, 2023. Adday Adnight, the Germany-wide career fair for young agency professionals organized by the German Association of Communication Agencies (GWA), is coming to Stuttgart soon. On April 25, all interested students and recent graduates can learn about starting a career in the agency world and discuss the topic with experts.
Overtime, pressure to perform, a cutthroat work environment—the image of this once-glamorous industry had been faltering for a long time. But for several years now, a shift in mindset has been taking place in the agency world: away from being exploitative and toward becoming an attractive employer with employee-friendly working conditions and dream job opportunities. Anyone who wants to see this for themselves should come to the Adday Adnight Meet & Match fair on April 25 at Studio Amore in Stuttgart. At the many information booths, visitors can gain interesting insights from agency employees and learn about entry-level positions and career opportunities in the communications industry today. During the so-called “Business Speed Dating” session, up-and-coming young talents can take the opportunity to make initial contacts with managing directors and agency representatives. Through presentations, showcases of specific projects, and discussions, ten renowned agencies from Stuttgart and the surrounding area will provide insights into various career paths, their broad range of services, and how they use these to impress clients from a wide variety of industries. After the stimulating discussions, attendees will head to the Adnight afterparty to celebrate and wrap up the evening. Admission to the entire event is free. There are also great prizes to be won.
“This series of events is a great opportunity for young people to connect with potential employers. At the same time, it’s an important part of the GWA’s efforts to nurture the next generation of talent. After all, the agency landscape has evolved rapidly in recent years. The event is designed to help find the right young talent and showcase Stuttgart as an attractive location for agencies,” said Martin Süßmuth, CEO of Die Crew and GWA board member for the Stuttgart region and surrounding area.
This year’s ten participating agencies are: Beaufort 8, Die Crew, Eberle, follow red, Lässing Müller, Mosaiq, port-neo, RTS Rieger Team, WVP, and antoni. follow red is also the event organizer. The creative professionals are supported by the Stuttgart Economic Development Agency.
