The brand for activating sportswear
With the new brand claim, CEP is striving for a more emotional brand profile in the areas of running, training, hiking and skiing in the general public perception. The aim is to convince not only professional athletes but also amateur athletes of the advantages of activating compression clothing. The PR professionals at follow red have been accompanying the brand relaunch since the beginning of the year with a wide variety of press and public relations measures. “The placement of CEP company news in trade and popular media is just as much a part of our repertoire as broad education on the exciting topic of compression, a look behind the scenes at CEP or the coordination of expert interviews,” Schaupp outlines his team’s achievements.
“With our brand relaunch, we are emphasizing the functional and emotional product benefits more strongly under the new claim ‘ENJOY THE PRESSURE’ and thus creating a clearer brand image. After the first specific PR activations at target group-relevant trade fairs, such as Germany’s largest sports trade fair ISPO, the Stuttgart-based agency is also to develop and implement creative ideas for the integration of testimonials such as Felix Neureuther into press and public relations work. Neureuther, one of the most popular German winter sports enthusiasts of recent years and a self-confessed CEP fan, has been CEP’s new brand ambassador since April 2019.
