Full roadshow success: follow red implements Bosch Pro Tour by the end of 2023

Stuttgart, 08 December 2022: Five months on tour: 35 days of operation. 28 stops in Munich, Cologne, Hamburg and Leipzig, among others. More than 10,000 kilometers traveled. Around 5,000 visitors from the trades. And a satisfied customer. This was the Bosch PRO Tour 2022 in a nutshell. The concept and implementation of the roadshow were penned by follow red, the communications agency for live experience and brand communication from Stuttgart. The tour will continue until at least the end of 2023.

One truck, several escort vehicles, three countries and eight trades – with the concept and implementation of the Bosch PRO Tour, the Stuttgart-based communication experts from follow red created a very special kind of craftsman experience: Whether for construction, electrical engineering, wood or industrial metalworking – at a total of six application-oriented experience stations, exhibits and digital elements, the trade professionals experience and evaluate the high-performance cordless tools from Bosch Professional in a unique live environment. No wishes remain unfulfilled: Among other things, sawing, drilling and sanding are carried out, which is what the professional “craftsman’s heart” desires.

Follow red is responsible for the concept of the tour as well as the production of all measures. This also includes equipping the show truck and planning the route, but also the development and production control of the exhibits and applications on the more than 200 square metre area. This also includes the planning and control of logistics and the personnel of the outdoor area. One of the highlights there: a specially built, branded food truck equipped for the needs of the tour, which not only knows how to convince culinarily. Rather, it serves as a place for visitors to exchange ideas and discuss the impressions gained in the show truck afterwards.

“After the budget was approved, we worked for two months on the detailed concept of the roadshow. It was particularly important to us to make the applications as realistic as possible in order to pick up the target group of professional craftsmen and women in their living environments,” says Sebastian Hüther, Group Head Event at follow red. On this basis, we had realistic exhibits built to create an authentic brand experience for professionals by professionals.”

Roadshow expertise with tradition

With the Bosch PRO Tour, follow red is moving on familiar terrain. “Roadshows are firmly anchored in our DNA, that’s where we come from,” says Sebastian Wiese, Managing Partner at follow red. “Starting with the Coca-Cola Christmas Tour in 1997, which was developed in-house, we have now built up decades of experience in this discipline and implemented various roadshows with a wide variety of requirements for a wide variety of target groups. We are therefore very pleased that Bosch Power Tools is building on our expertise with its innovative high-performance cordless tools.” A total of about 100 days of operation are planned for 2023 as part of the tour. It will continue from January 2023.
