Stuttgart, 24.08.2021. Since last year, the communication experts at follow red have been supporting the sailing tourism company Sailing-Classics, which focuses on authentic sailing with comfort and service. The focus of the collaboration is on the areas of brand communication and brand design to enable targeted investor communication and approach around the construction of the world’s first commercial “zero-emission” sailing yacht, AEOLUS.
The sailing tourism company Sailing-Classics offers individual holiday trips for individual bookers and as cabin charters with its three sailing yachts KARIOS, CHRONOS and RHEA. The yachts already cover up to 70 percent of their routes on the Atlantic, Mediterranean and Caribbean entirely under sail, making them a more sustainable alternative to cruise ships. The vision of founder and main shareholder Andreas Steidle-Sailer of a sustainable and personal sailing holiday is now to be driven forward with another project: the construction of the world’s first commercial “zero-emission” sailing yacht, the AEOLUS. Since 2020, follow red’s communications experts have been supporting the company with strategic advice, analysis and creative impulses in targeted investor communication and approach for the construction of this fourth ship. This includes, for example, the creation of a pitch deck, an investor film and the creation of the content for the specially created website of the new sailing yacht. “We are pleased to accompany Sailing-Classics on their way to a more sustainable, individual sailing experience and to support them with our know-how in the field of brand communication, especially in the area of the target group investors,” explains Jonathan Geyer, Head of Strategy at follow red.
In addition to the AEOLUS project, follow red supports the sailing tourism company with other communication topics, such as the creation and revision of all communication media, for example the current travel catalogue, and the relaunch of the existing corporate design for a coherent overall appearance. The approach to investors is also continuing, with the aim of making travel on the new sailing yacht even more sustainable. The project’s holistic sustainability strategy ranges from waste and plastic avoidance, seawater desalination and wastewater treatment to the use of biodegradable detergents and products.
