Stuttgart, 07.09.2021. For a leading automotive manufacturer, the communication experts at follow red developed an individual concept for a pre-produced, English-language webcast. The focus was on the development of a meaningful overall dramaturgy as well as the entire production of the video content, including close cooperation with the trades involved in the webcast.
In order to honor its suppliers for exceptional projects in the field of sustainability, Daimler AG published a webcast specially pre-produced on this topic. The communications agency follow red implemented this format and took over the concept development, content production and coordination with the trades involved in the webcast. In addition to a graphic bracket including specially designed key visuals and matching animations, the communication professionals developed the storyline, the core topics and the storyboards for the webcast and supervised the entire production process. “We are pleased to have developed this format together with our customer. Thanks to the close cooperation in terms of content and the competent implementation of all trades involved, we were able to produce a convincing webcast,” explains Alex Leuker, part of the Management Board and Head of Event at follow red.
The webcast was dramaturgically divided into three acts and culminated in the presentation of a Sustainability Award, which honored a particularly sustainable supplier to the car manufacturer. The format was hosted by parts of the company’s top management, who presented, among other things, the company’s sustainable strategic orientation and future as well as core products. Other elements of the content were the presentations of the three nominated suppliers and their goals in the area of sustainability, as well as the winning telephone call with an inspiring outlook into the future. The webcast celebrated its world premiere on July 15 and has since been available to the public on YouTube under https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KJGuwVI_YtU.
