Stuttgart, September 7, 2021. For a leading automaker, the communications experts at follow red developed a customized concept for a pre-produced, English-language webcast. The focus was on developing a compelling overall narrative structure as well as handling the entire production of the video content, including close collaboration with the various teams involved in the webcast.
To recognize its suppliers for exceptional sustainability projects, Daimler AG released a webcast produced specifically for this purpose. The communications agency follow red real created this format, handling concept development, content production, and coordination with the various teams involved in the webcast. In addition to a visual framework featuring custom-designed key visuals and matching animations, the communications professionals developed the storyline, core themes, and storyboards for the webcast and oversaw the entire production process. “We are pleased to have developed this format together with our client. Thanks to the close collaboration on content and the expert execution by all participating teams, we were able to produce a compelling webcast,” explains Alex Leuker, a member of the Management Board and Head of Events at follow red.
The webcast was structured into three acts and culminated in the presentation of a Sustainability Award, which recognized one of the automaker’s particularly sustainable suppliers. The event was hosted by members of the company’s top management, who presented, among other things, the company’s sustainable strategic direction, its future, and its core products. Other highlights included presentations by the three nominated suppliers and their sustainability goals, as well as a phone call with the winner offering an inspiring outlook for the future. The webcast made its world premiere on July 15 and has since been available to the public on YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KJGuwVI_YtU, among other platforms.
